We provide intensive, home based parenting education and intervention for families who have experienced temporary separation, and for children who have been placed in foster care. Our intervention services also bridge relationships between natural parents, children, and foster parents. |

Are In-Home Services? We strive to prevent the destruction of the family unit and to decrease the number of children placed in foster care. we provide social services and connect clients with others who may offer continuing support once our 90 - day intervention comes to a close. Our qualified staff receives assistance from many agencies and includes specialists in housing, MH/MR, adult literacy, and child development. Who is Eligible? Primarily, the communities served by the Mon Valley regional CYF office. Families must be referred by their case worker to a RCC staff member. |

What Services Do You Typically Offer? Home based parenting skills are offered, which can include behavior management, stress reduction, problem solving, household management, home safety, and impulse control. We also offer counseling and crisis management. We also bridge relationships between natural parents, children, and foster parents to create effective transitions and a positive environment.
