Based on APOST (Allegheny Partners for Out of School Time) standards and best practices, is a program offered to children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Youth enrolled in the program are offered appropriate hands-on activities that promote their development physically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
Activities offered include homework assistance, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) programming, recreational time, arts and crafts, cooking activities, skill building, and other activities that teach life lessons in preparation for the future.
We partner with boy and girl scouts to provide programming onsite. We also have a partnership with the Swissvale Library to provide bi-monthly programming to all afterschool students in correlation with our STEM curriculum.
Our youth are provided a safe, nurturing environment that both stimulates and engages all ages to “soar above and beyond”. We serve nutritional meals and promote Christian based activities. This program service Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, September through June.
